LUKOIL will be manufacturing at its Russian plants a wide range of lubricants under OREGON brand, including all kinds of oils for 2-stroke and 4-stroke small engines, chain oils for petrol-powered and electric saws as well as products for lubricating chains and tires of harvesters.
Increased concentration of synthetic base oils in OREGON products raises the oils’ low temperature resistance as well as increase wear and corrosion protection properties and ensuring low-smoke combustion. “LUKOIL base oils’ characteristics allowed us to further improve our high quality products” said Russia-based Blount LLC sales director Denis Lunev.
LUKOIL Lubricants Company has successfully completed certification of its lubricants manufacturing sites in Russia, Austria and Finland under the newest international automotive standard IATF 16949:2016.
The company became the first Russian lubricants manufacturer to confirm the compliance of its plants to the actual requirements to suppliers for the largest automotive concerns. The certification resulted from the integrated work aimed at experience exchange as well as unification of quality management approach at the company’s manufacturing facilities in Europe and Russia.
“We supply our products to such automotive concerns as Volkswagen, Ford, Renault and others. IATF certification is a milestone event for us. We expect that it will help us to expand our supplies to international car manufacturers,” commented LUKOIL Lubricants Company General Director Kirill Vereta.

IATF 16949:2016 is a new global industry standard by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), the global group of automotive manufacturers. The standard is defining the most advanced requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry. A parts and consumables manufacturer should be certified as per IATF to join the pool of automotive industry suppliers. The previous ISO/TS 16949:2009 industry standard ceased to be effective on September 14, 2018.

According to the agreement signed by the parties, the list of products includes hydraulic oils LUKOIL GEYSER ST 46 and 32, LUKOIL GEYSER UNIVERSAL 22, TEBOIL HYDRAULIC ARCTIC HVLP 15, synthetic engine oils LUKOIL LUXE SAE 5W-40, 5W-30 and 10W-40, and universal grease lubricant LUKOIL POLIFLEX EP 2-160. The lubricants will be supplied in small and medium containers under the LUKOIL brand name.
